Coordinated a team of eight coops in investigations of spontaneous collaboration tools and physical spaces for the next generation worker. Briefed MITRE CIO & deputy CIO on conclusions of investigation, which resulted in changed work practices within the organization.
Managed a team of approximately five full-time staff members for a social graphing prototype based off of mined intranet data. Coordinated contact between team members and obtained access to resources.
Led an effort to digitize demos of computer security tools developed by MITRE in archival video form. Created documentation for all audiovisual equipment, detailing processes for division specific purposes.
Evaluated several network analysis/visualization tools for use on MITRE's corporate network.
June 2008 - August 2008
Coordinated all phases of a highly visible social software microlocation project. Responsible for taking several innovative ideas from concept to pilot. Executed pilot rollout to over 300 corporate users.
Developed several widgets utilizing Web 2.0 technologies.
Conducted a study of current MITRE coops to improve the onboarding process for interns and new graduates at MITRE. Results were presented to the highest levels of the company, resulting in new projects focused at attracting next generation workers.
Created several five year visions on integrating social networking concepts into the MITRE information space. Developed detailed storyboards of scenarios in support of vision.
