Position responsibilities

• Lead and provide expertise for complex, technical projects, from concept through analysis, design, execution and rollout.

• Work with a cross-functional team of other product innovators, software developers, user experience team members and business stakeholders.

• Perform data analysis to inform solution design and monitor product metrics.

Key Achievements

• Reimagined athenahealth’s electronic health records from the ground up to provide a simpler, patient-care-focused user experience for clinicians.

• Leveraged behavior data from 29,000 providers in athenaClinicals to surface intelligent clinical suggestions at the point of patient care.

• Redesigned platform used by clients and project managers to implement athenahealth products.

• Automated setup tasks for key implementation steps, which reduced client and project manager effort, encouraged best practices, and standardized processes.

• Developed data analysis tools in Excel to support metric monitoring of implementation tool adoption.

• Created new enhancements and bug queue processes and released more than 170 items to users.

• Volunteered as a teaching assistant for recurring SQL class.

• Revised Product Innovation hiring processes to support increased growth and encourage efficiencies.

• Defined Product Innovation project phases & key deliverables to standardize across the department.
